2. Ship your old computer to the designated location within 7 business days
3. After MINISFORUM receives the product, we will inspect it.
※ Evaluation results within 3 days
4. After the inspection is approved, we will email you the result.
5. After you confirm the result, we will issue a gift card equal to the trade-in value within 3 business days
(valid for 3 months from issue date)

FAQ
Do I need to pay anything extra?
The shipping cost for returning your old device is covered by you. The shipping cost for sending the new device is covered by us. If you choose Cash on Delivery, the shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
How do I find the serial number on my device?
There is a sticker with a 20-digit serial number on the device case. You can check it directly.
How long does the trade-in process take?
The entire trade-in process usually takes 1–2 weeks. Once we receive your trade-in device, we will notify you of the inspection result within 3 business days. If both parties agree on the inspection result, we will issue a gift card equal to the trade-in value.
Do I need to include accessories to get the trade-in value?
You do not have to include the box, charger, cables, or other accessories. However, the completeness of what you send back may affect the trade-in value.
Can I trade in any number of computers?
Sorry, we only accept one trade-in device for each new computer purchased.
Does this service cover all products?
If you cannot select a "product model" on the application page, then that product model is not eligible for this service.
Will you clear the data from my old hard drive or SSD?
Please back up and erase all data from your old storage devices (including hard drives, SSDs, and any other data storage devices) yourself. Although we will attempt to erase data after receiving the device, we cannot guarantee that all data will be completely removed. Additionally, we do not provide data erasure certificates or proof of processing.
What if I am not satisfied with the evaluation result?
If you do not agree with the final evaluation result and wish to cancel the trade-in service, we will return the product to you in its original condition via Cash on Delivery (shipping fee payable by you).
- Trade-in orders are covered by a one-year warranty period. Only eligible products purchased more than six months ago (before October 30, 2025) qualify for the trade-in service.
- One trade-in device is accepted per new purchase.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. If the return shipment is sent cash on delivery (COD), the corresponding fee will also be deducted from the refund amount.
- Please accurately declare any device damage according to the inspection standards. Failure to do so may delay the inspection, evaluation, or return/exchange process.
- Please submit the application form within two business days after sending back your old device.
- MINISFORUM will issue a gift card within three business days after receiving your old device and confirming the evaluation result.
- You may send your old computer by courier or bring it directly to our store.
- This trade-in policy applies only to users who purchase eligible models in the United States market.
- If you fail to back up the data on your old computer, any resulting data loss will be handled in accordance with the “Trade-in Service Terms & Conditions” you agreed to.
- MINISFORUM reserves the right to interpret and amend these Terms & Conditions based on specific market requirements.
※Please back up and erase all data from your old computer’s storage devices (including hard drives, SSDs, and other storage media) before sending it in. Although we will erase data from the old computer, we cannot guarantee complete data removal. We also do not provide data deletion certificates or processing certificates.
